Some of the things i gotten out of the great program was the point and the simple things on how to make my own video game and i still got some math things out of this program
What I've gotten out of the program is that I learned so much more about technology and scratched the surface with racket and so many other applications! Plus I met great people who helped me through this program and I'm looking forward to starting Bootstrap 2 as soon as I get home from the last day of Bootstrap 1!

This summer in the bootstrap program i got some beginner knowledge on how to code a player,danger,projectile and target. I also learned some useful math that will help me in and out of school.Lastly i learned how to use commands to make my player react to certain events, death,points etc. Kyle.R
This summer I have learned a lot about racket code and I also learned the distance formula. Everything that I've learned over the summer is definitely going to help me next year at Voc. -Jessica S.
To be honest i wasn't here to get anything but i did learn how to do racket I learned i was smarter then people play me for. And that if I really apply myself I can do anything. I came in with me bein me but left just learning so much about myself and opening up to people little.-Jeany

i have learned coding to help me create my own video game, there was frustration along the way but i was able to do it with my partner JESSICA!!!! :) i also learned on how to battle and the circles of evaluation :) i got a lot out of this program and im glad that i joined, i like this so much, now i know a little bit about programming :D <3 this has been the best program that i have ever been to :) im glad that they made it, and i hope to see everyone again one day :)

What I have gotten out of the Bootstrap summer program is learning vocabulary, circles of evaluation, design recipes and so much more that is just the beginning of racket code. I learned so much that I never knew about. The outcome of this was making a video game. Not only have I got to make and learn some amazing things but also have met some really nice people and have had fun throughout the program! -Evy B
The bootstrap program this year was amazing, and totally worth doing again. I got many things out of the program this year. The ones I found that caused the most-impact in my life, were Blender(which I hope to use to become a game designer or something similar one day), the coding which I can use to have more insight on things like error codes and even more coding languages, and finally, the ability go and learn things on my own; the instructors really pushed for that during the course of the program, and i am very glad they did. It taught me that some open source software are better than some softwares you have to pay for. It also taught me that it takes a team and alot of time to make game. -Luis R
I have gotten a lot out of the Bootstrap program this summer. I came in knowing nothing of coding and different programs. I expected to just learn a tiny bit of coding. But I took a lot more away from this program than I expected. I learned the basics of coding, I used other programs such as blender and gimp.

What I got out of Bootstrap is the circles of evaluation and racket code. Now I can use the circles of evaluation in high school. :-)
