Good Morning, Bootstrap Coders!
Today we'd like you to write a blog comment about what you created in your explorations. Describe what you did. Did you try something that didn't work out? Great! Let us know.
This morning I helped Kasey get caught up on yesterdays work. I showed him the contracts and explained them to him. I then played around with some of yesterdays commands and I tried out some if statements. - Ethan G.
What I did was get multiple images off of Google, and transferred them to WeScheme. Sometimes they didn't work on the first try, but on the second try they did. Also, certain shapes I tried didn't work either. -Jessica S.
Armand B I tried to see what i remembered from yesterday and practice using some of the things we learned yesterday like getting images from url s.Also creating images like stars and squares.
So, what I did while I was exploring was I was testing out all the new contracts I have gotten yesterday. I also tested my limits to see for example how big an image will go. Also, I tried adding quotation marks to text which ended in an error but at least I tried.
I was able to successfully implement all of my pictures. However, I tried to reflect the image and it was a failure. I then started messing about with defining variables and implementing pictures. -Dylan M.
In my explorations I created a text, and tried connecting two shapes by putting in the addition function then the image contracts, but it didn't work. - Montayo C
what i was doing was i was trying out was when you use, (bitmap/url " ) then the program, it was a lot of fun, i like how you can do a lot of stuff with racket code :) another i was doing was EX. (star 50 "solid" "black") and when i hit enter, i star popped up! :D i was amazed really, cause before this program! i did not know about this stuff! and all i have to say is, this is a great program!!! anyways! " GO BOOTSTRAP!!!! GO BATMAN!!!! GO JOKER!!! GO STAR WARS!!! GO GAMING!!!! and a bunch more ;) ~ Shae D. ~.^ =^.^=( meow:)
I just did the bitmap contract and put some pictures of random memes on wescheme. Its fun how we can do the contracts and practice them at home. Lets go argentina -luis r

ReplyDeleteYesterday i created a black star after messing with the contracts yesterday then rotated it to make the product i wanted.
